WHAT SIZE AM I?

Just like shoes and dresses, ring sizing scales vary between countries. Travel Jewels rings are sized on the American scale. Most are available in the standard sizes 7 and 8, and some come in a size 6 as well.

A few tips:

  • Measure your finger in warm temperatures at the end of the
    day
  • If your knuckle is a lot larger than your finger, measure the base of your finger and your knuckle, and choose a size between the two
  • If you're buying the ring as a surprise, try to measure another one of your recipients' rings, or perhaps ask a mother or friend their ring size

RESIZING

Our rings are made from the finest quality Sterling Silver, so in most cases, they can be resized by a reputable jeweller. But please do seek advice from a jeweller you trust before commissioning any work – sometimes resizing can dislodge the gems in their settings and cause them to fall out. There's nothing more tragic than a ring without its gem!

Uh Oh!

You've caught your ring on a piece of furniture. You've dropped a bangle on the tiles. Eek! It's okay. there's no need to panic. Sterling Silver is a relatively soft material and can be bent out of shape, but in most cases, it's easily fixed. Take your piece to a quality jeweller and they'll repair it for you.

If you'd like a recommendation for a jeweller in your area, let us know and we'll be in touch.

Care & Cleaning

With regular wear, your Travel Jewels may get a little dirty, but it's simple enough to get them sparkling again. A wash in mild, soapy water will dissolve most grease and grime from the jewellery. Then just rinse with fresh water and pat dry on a lint-free piece of fabric.

For a truly pristine result, a trip to the jeweller for an ultrasonic clean and new rhodium plate will restore your precious jewels to their as-new condition.
